Sister of the Wind

Ba-dum, Ba-dum, Ba-dum

Bongos beat across Her ribcage

You see Her

You blink

she takes off

The tracks from her soles

Prove she visited

You still hear the song of her movement

While she continues plowing across the hills

You had stood on your two feet

As did She, face to face

Inches in between

Her worries seeped out of Her growing self

You felt indifferent, only reflecting back at Her

Oh, how She thrashed at you

she took off and left Herself with you

Vowed to forget, stitched her throat shut

It was not on purpose

That you were now shattered

Lying broken in the grass

But now the grass grows tall

Your shards remain scattered

Intense rays bounce off of you

And she is still running

It is shame, It is mourning

It is a pity

she continues on

But you will forever keep Her image

Ba-dum, Ba-dum, Ba-dum
