Trauma’s Legacy, Unity’s Triumph

In the crucible of hearts, we stand as one,

Black souls battling shadows, battles hard-won.

Generational trauma’s weight, a heavy chain,

But within unity’s embrace, we break the pain.

From scars of youth to ancestral cries,

We yearn for freedom ‘neath uncertain skies.

A battle rages deep, an inward fight,

Yet unity’s sweet embrace unveils wounds, once hidden from sight.”

Amidst the shadows of our shared history,

We seek transformation, hope’s mystery.

Universities beckon, knowledge we claim,

In hallowed halls, we shatter trauma’s name.

Exposed to new experiences, we learn and grow,

Through every challenge, we find strength to show.

Seeking connections with kindred souls we strive,

In shared struggles, our determination thrives.

Vulnerability, a bridge we dare to cross,

Our deepest truths, we share, no matter the cost.

From fragility's core, our strength blooms wide,

In shared stories, darkness begins to subside.

So much power lies in self-love's warm embrace,

The love we yearned for in others, we now face.

In these bonds, both tender and true,

We find strength to heal, strength to renew.

In unity’s tender grapes, we soar on high,

Through generational storms, ‘neath childhood’s sky.

Empowered by our voyage, we blaze a trail,

Guiding, uplighting, like a wind-borne sail.

For meaningful connections, hearts laid bare,

The wounds we carry, burdens we share.

In vulnerability's light, we clearly see,

The strength within you and me.

In life's tapestry, our stories entwine,

Navigating our pasts, destinies align.

Through trials and triumphs, we persevere,

Our path to healing may be fraught, yet clear.

With each step forward, we break the chain,

Of generational trauma, we dare to claim.

Empowered by education, minds set free,

We stride toward a brighter destiny.

In unity's purpose, we rise above,

The trials we face, the pain we've known of.

Together we stand, shoulder to shoulder,

Supporting one another, growing bolder.

In sisterhood and brotherhood, we unite,

The strength we find, our guiding light.

Generations before us, we honor, respect,

As we redefine our narrative, intersect.

In self-love's embrace, we find our might,

The lessons learned throughout our fight.

As we walk a path forged by our hand,

We extend our love, take a stand.

For meaningful connections are built on trust,

In shared vulnerability, our hearts adjust.

Our journey to healing, inside and out,

Is fueled by love, without a doubt.

So, let us remember the strength we possess,

In unity, in love, our triumph, we confess.

Breaking the cycle, hand in hand, we rise,

For generations to come, self-love they’ll realize..
